Our Story
Twenty-seven years of family-run Punjabi cooking
From a small family kitchen on St Marys Road to a Southampton institution — the same recipes, the same care, since 1999.

A family kitchen, open to the whole of Southampton
Punjabi Takeaway opened its doors on St Marys Road in 1999, bringing home-style Punjabi cooking to the local community. Twenty-seven years on, it's still a family-run kitchen — the same recipes passed down and cooked fresh every day.

We've always kept things simple: no delivery-app menus, no reheated batches — just curries, tandoori and breads made to order, the way they'd be cooked at home.
